If you and your family are into space and rockets this is a great stop. Expect to bring some prior knowledge or go on a guided tour to get the most out of the museum. Outside exhibits are amazing, and the Saturn 5 itself makes the visit worthwhile. Use the bathrooms whenever you see them and if possible plan to eat meals somewhere else. |

Review: by Dad
This is a great place to take a look at rockets and airplanes, but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of scientific explanation in the museum.
Our whole family enjoyed seeing the rockets, especially the Saturn 5 and the full scale Shuttle strapped to the rockets and fuel container. It was also great to see the lunar module in a simulated lunar environment. Half our family went on the G-force ride and enjoyed it - the other half enjoyed not going. Inside the history of rocketry was interesting and the IMAX dome was fun.
Some negatives about the museum itself are that the rockets, etc were exhibited with limited historical or scientific information. I would like to see more information on the historical or scientific importance of each rocket.
The virtual reality ride was standard and fun, but again I question the purpose. The ride started as a tour of the Martian surface, but eventually ended in finding and riding a Martian rollercoaster. It just seems to me that the Martian surface alone could give enough excitement for all to enjoy.
Food at the cafeteria was standard fare: burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches. The food is fine, but not great and overpriced as expected. There are really not enough restrooms for all of the crowds, and waits are the norm. Both men's and women's restrooms have baby-changing areas. NO FAMILY BATHROOMS.

Will: “The gift shop was incredible. There are a lot of fun toys, shirts, hats and stickers. I really loved the g-force accelerator.”
