This is a nice wildlife area. The trails were well-maintained and easy to follow. There was ample parking, although when we were there they were preparing for the Heritage Classic on the Harbour Town Golf Links. This just meant there were a lot of confusing temporary signs.
The Wildlife area consists of many acres of forest and wetlands. The kids had fun looking for and watching lizards, and also the resident alligators. Being from the North, we found all of the different sub-tropical plants to be really interesting also.
This is not really a place made for tourists. It is more a local place to take a nice walk in nature. Make sure you bring water and snacks and anything else you will need. The walk will be enjoyable, and allow you to view many animals and plants, just don't expect anything more than it is. We had a great time, and walked for over 2 hours.
