What a good time. Where could you go wrong with a boat ride and dolphins to see? |

Review: by Dad
This was a lot of fun. We scheduled this tour through the Coastal Discovery Center, along with another beach walk.
The dolphin tour was well worth the money. We had to board the boat on a nother part of the island. The captain and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. Our boys were designated the official dolphin finders. Will had a little problem looking out at the water, he spent a lot of time watching the birds, but Sam took his job very seriously. It took us a while to find dolphins, but along the way we saw tons of oysters, sea birds, and beautiful views.
We love boat tours, so the early lack of dolphins was not a problem. When the dolphins did appear though we were in for a treat. We saw a lot of dolphins that afternoon, but the highlights were the mother and baby, along with the couple that were "bubble netting" fish for a meal.
On the way back Will was asked if he would like to help steer the boat. He climbed up into the bridge, put on the captains hat and set to it. He did a good job taking us home, and only needed a little help from the captain to keep us from running ashore.
All in all, it was a pleasant afternoon with some nice people and a view of some animals in their natural environment.
Additional Review:
Will: I wasn't really good at finding the dolphins, but driving the boat was a lot of fun. The dolphins that were fishing were really cool.
